The incident began around 10am Monday at a residence on Trafalgar St. London Police say they responded to a call about a man in the building with outstanding warrants.
That section of Trafalgar between Anderson Ave and Pegler St was closed down while police attempted to communicate with the suspect.
The situation was resolved shortly after 3pm when the suspect surrendered without incident and was then taken into custody.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
