Lightning Release Finals Schedule

The London Lightning will open the 2017 NBLC championship series at home this Friday.

The schedule for the final series between the Lightning and the Halifax Hurricanes was released Wednesday. The series opens Friday night at Budweiser Gardens. Game 2 is Saturday night at Budweiser Gardens. Both games start at 7pm.

The series then shifts to Halifax for Game 3 on Tuesday, Game 4 on Thursday, and if necessary, Game 5 next Saturday.

Games 6 and 7 would be played in London on Monday, June 5 and Tuesday, June 6.

This will mark the second time the Lightning have faced Halifax in the NBLC finals. The Lightning defeated the then-Halifax Rainmen for the league title in 2012.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
