Alleged Drug Traffickers Arrested

Two people are facing drug-related charges after London police found some pot and some magic mushrooms while searching a home just off of Kipps Lane.

Police say local officers teamed up with the RCMP to execute a search warrant at a residence on Edenridge Dr. last Thursday.

During their search, they found 285 g of marijuana, eight marijuana plants, 110 g of marijuana shake, and 676 g of magic mushrooms.

The combined value of the drugs that were seized is estimated at $17,600.

A 33-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman are now both charged with drug trafficking, drug production, and possession of a prohibited weapon or device.

Anyone with information that could help officers as they continue to investigate the incident is asked to contact London police or Crime Stoppers.
