Police Seize Rifle, Cocaine, Methamphetamine

Police have seized nearly $100,000 worth of cocaine and methamphetamine after drug busts at five separate locations throughout London.

London police, along with the RCMP, raided homes on English St., Cabell St., Burnside Dr., Trafalgar St., and East St. on Wednesday. Officers seized 737.5g of suspected cocaine, two 5 mg oxycodone pills, 166 g of methamphetamine, and a five gallon tub of suspected phenacetin. The drugs are worth a combined $95,360, according to police.

A .22 caliber rifle, a weigh scale, and approximately $4,000 cash were also seized during the search.

A 47-year-old London man is charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking. A warrant has been issued for a 49-year-old London on three weapons offences in relation to the rifle.
