Knights Gain New Assistant General Manager

The London Knights have hired a new addition to the hockey club's office staff.

London native Colin MacDonald will join the OHL team as the new assistant general manager.  MacDonald will replace Jake Goldberg, who recently took a position with the Arizona Coyotes in the National Hockey League.

MacDonald's experience in the OHL includes four seasons with the Plymouth Whalers from 2009 to 2013, where he captained the team during his final season. He has also served as an assistant coach for the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs Minor Bantam AAA team.

“We are extremely proud to welcome Colin to our front office staff," said London Knights General Manager Rob Simpson in a news release. “Colin brings a wealth of knowledge to the London Knights, having played four seasons in the league including captaining his team, and then using his OHL education package to obtain his schooling from King’s University and Ivey Business School. We are very excited that he will bring  this familiarity with the league to his role with the London Knights.”
