Motorcycle Crash Kills One

A 52-year-old man is dead following a motorcycle crash in London.

London Police say the man was riding the motorcycle in the area of Wilkins St and Upper Queens St around 7:45pm Sunday when somehow he lost control and struck an unoccupied parked vehicle.

The motorcycle rider was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, and was pronounced dead some time later.

The victim's name has not been released.

London Police's traffic management unit was on scene late Sunday night with the expectation that the area will be closed for some time. Police are asking drivers to avoid the area.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
