Police Seek Witnesses In Fatal Four-Vehicle Crash

Police are asking for any witnesses to come forward as officers investigate a four-vehicle crash that killed one and injured four others near Waterford.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on August 1 around 6:10pm, emergency crews responded to the collision on Hwy. 24 between Windham Rd. 7 and Concession 8.

One of the drivers,  84-year-old Mary Faludi of Norfolk County, was ejected during the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other drivers and a passenger were rushed to hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries, while the fourth driver suffered minor injuries.

The collision remains under investigation and police are urging anyone who witnessed this incident to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
