Sheepdogs Added To Western Fair Line-Up

The Western Fair has added a fourth night of big ticket live music to next month's festivities.

The Sheepdogs were announced Wednesday as the main stage headliner at the Metroland Media Agriplex on September 14. The night's opening act remains to be seen.

The 142nd edition of the fair will also see an opening night show by Canadian rockers 54-40, presented by Classic Rock Free 98.1. Sarah Smith will open for the group. Two nights of country shows will feature Eric Ethridge and the duo Locash on September 12 and singer/songwriter Cam, will play along with Madeline Merlo on September 13.

Roughly 25 local performers will have their chance to dazzle fair-goers throughout the fair's ten-day run at the I Love Local Tent, free with regular admission. Local acts span a wide variety of genres including rock, pop, blues, and country.

The Western Fair runs September 8 until September 17.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
