Police Seek Witnesses To Serious Crash

A woman is fighting for her life following a single-vehicle crash outside of Norwich.

Oxford OPP say a light blue Pontiac sedan was heading south on Hwy. 59 between Maple Dell Rd. and Vanash Rd. when it veered off the road and into a ditch Friday morning. The vehicle continued across the front lawn of a nearby home before crashing into a tree.

The female driver was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

Police were called to the scene around 7:30am, but believe the collision may have happened several hours before it was discovered.

Officers canvassed the area for witnesses to the crash, but were unable to find any. They are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to give them a call at 1-888-310-1122.
