St. Thomas Man Robbed By Masked Suspect

St. Thomas police are investigating a robbery involving a masked suspect.

Police say at approximately 11pm on Sunday, a 24-year-old St. Thomas man reported that while riding his bicycle in the area of Wellington and Ross St., he was approached by a man wearing a ski mask, a black hoodie, and blue jeans.

The man reportedly grabbed the victim, kicked him in the stomach, and stole his money. The suspect then fled on foot, eastbound on Wellington St.

Police searched the area but did not find anything. The victim was not injured.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
