Police Investigate Stabbing In East London

One person is in hospital and another is in custody after a stabbing in London's east end.

The London Police Service says a female victim was stabbed in the area of Gore Rd. and Hamilton Rd., at around 3pm on Tuesday.

The victim was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Officers have since arrested a male suspect in connection with the stabbing.

Police are not releasing much more information at this time, however, officers say the victim and the suspect know each other.

The investigation is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
