Prescription Meds Taken In Armed Robbery

London police are looking for two men after an armed robbery that saw prescription drugs taken from a south end pharmacy.

Two men walked into the pharmacy at 769 Southdale Rd. E around 6pm on Thursday and demanded medication from the pharmacist. One of the men was armed with a firearm, according to police.

The pair took off in a silver, four-door sedan with an undisclosed amount of prescription medication. No one was hurt during the robbery.

Police say one of the men is described as white, around 30-years-old, approximately 5'9'', 160 lbs, with a slim build and short black hair. The other man is said to be white, approximately 5'6'', 150 lbs, with a medium build.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
