Suspect Sought In Armed Robbery

Police are looking for a suspect after a man armed with a weapon robbed a London convenience store.

The London Police Service says on Thursday around 2pm, a man walked into the Mini-Mart at 750 Lorne Ave., pulled out a weapon and demanded cash.  The man was wearing dark clothes and his face was covered by piece of clothing.

After an unknown quantity of cash was taken, the man took off running.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
