Knights Douse Firebirds In 9-0 Shutout

The London Knights blanked the Flint Firebirds 9-0 at Budweiser Gardens on Friday.

Tyler Rollo and Robert Thomas both scored in the first period to kick things off for the Knights.

Richard Whittaker and Cliff Pu scored back-to-back goals early in the second, and Thomas scored his second of the night to make it 5-0 for London.

Thomas completed a hat-trick with another goal in the third, and Cole Tymkin, Liam Foudy and Alex Formenton added one unanswered goal each before the end of the frame to complete London's shutout victory.

London goalie Joseph Raaymakers had a perfect night, stopping all 32 shots by Flint.

The Knights will travel to Kitchener on Tuesday to face off against the Rangers at 7pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
