Jessie Aaron McConnell, 22, had been wanted on a charge of aggravated assault in connection with the October 21 assault of Rajaie El Shorafa. The owner of the Horton Variety store at 216 Horton St. suffered critical injuries in the assault.
An arrest warrant for McConnell was issued on October 23. Police say he was arrested on Monday, November 13. He is charged with one count of aggravated assault.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
