Rangers Double Knights 4-2

The Kitchener Rangers trampled the London Knights 4-2 at Kitchener Memorial Auditorium on Tuesday.

The Rangers were first to score 6:25 into the game, but Alex Formenton scored for London just under 14 minutes in the first frame to tie things up.  Kitchener scored later in the period to retake the lead as the game headed into the second.

Formenton scored his second of the night half way through the second period, and the Knights were able to hold off the Rangers for the rest of the frame to keep things tied at 2-2.

However, Kitchener came back strong in the third, scoring two unanswered goals to earn the win. Kole Sherwood led the Rangers with a hat trick including the game winner. Adam Mascherin was in on all three of Sherwood's goals.

Knights goaltender Joseph Raaymakers made 28 saves out of 32 shots on net.

The Knights return home on Thursday to battle the Guelph Storm. The puck drops at 7pm.
