High Risk Offender Moves To London

A high risk sex offender has moved to London.

London police advised the public on Friday that Christopher John Webster, who was recently released from a provincial facility, has returned to the city. The 33-year-old has a history of violence and sexual offences.

Police say there is "concern" regarding the possibility Webster could reoffend.

Webster is described as white man,approximately 181 lbs, 6’1” tall, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

"The London Police Service is issuing this information and warning after careful deliberation and consideration of all related issues, including privacy concerns, in the belief that it is clearly in the public interest to inform the members of the community of the release of Webster," stated a news release issued by police.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
