London Man Improving After School Bus Crash

A London man is still in hospital after his car collided head-on with a school bus north of Exeter.

Ibrahim Krasniqi, 51, had to be cut from the wreckage after his southbound Honda Accord crossed the centre line and hit a northbound school bus on London Rd. around 3:30pm on Monday.

He was air lifted to London hospital with what police initially called life threatening injuries. On Tuesday, police said Krasniqi's condition had improved and described his injuries as non-life threatening.

None of the 15 children on the bus or its driver were injured in the crash.

Police are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
