Woman Shot In South London

London police say a woman suffered life threatening injuries in a shooting in the southeast-end of the city.

Around 2pm Tuesday, police responded to a report of a shooting on Wilton Grove Rd. between Old Victoria Rd. and Westchester Bourne.

Police say a woman was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries. The body of a man was found nearby, according to police.

"Police are not looking for any outstanding suspects at this time," police said in a statement.

The Major Crime Section is now handling the investigation.
