Police Investigate After Woman Suffers Life Threatening Injuries

London police have not yet said how she was hurt, but a woman has been taken to hospital with life threatening injuries from a southeast end home.

Emergency crews were called to a home on Banbury Rd. near Pond Mills Rd. around 4:40am Tuesday.

"A woman was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries," says Constable Sandasha Bough in an emailed statement. "The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation and more information will be provided to the public when it becomes available.”

Officers are still at the home, which is surrounded by police tape, conducting an investigation.

Two police cruisers remained out front Tuesday afternoon. There is no indication how long police will be at the home.
