UPDATE: Snow Squall Watch Lifted

Environment Canada has ended a snow squall watch for the London area.

It was issued Tuesday afternoon as forecasters expected squalls and flurries to move into the area from Lake Huron. While the snow squall watch is over, a weather advisory is still in effect.

"Flurries developing over Lake Huron will continue to affect the region today and possibly into this evening," the advisory says. "Sudden low visibilities are the main concern and travel may be hazardous under the heaviest flurries."

Forecasters say the flurries are expected to affect areas to the north and west of London. Local snowfall amounts may reach 10cm by Wednesday afternoon.
