Two Injured in Granton Line Crash

A woman is fighting for life in hospital after a serious crash north of London.

Ontario Provincial Police say the crash occurred around 5:30pm Monday. A dark-coloured pickup truck was going southbound on Granton Line when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it partially rolled.

The pickup was then struck by a northbound SUV.

The 52-year-old woman driving the pickup was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The 61-year-old male SUV driver was also hospitalized with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
