UPDATE: Man Dies After Being Hit By Train

A man is dead after being hit by a train in London.

On Wednesday around 3:45pm, Middlesex-London EMS responded to a report of a man struck by a train in the area of Wharncliffe Rd. S and Stanley St.  A man in his 20s was discovered lying next to the tracks, with the train stopped.

The man suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital. He has since succumbed to his injuries.

Police have confirmed that the man was struck by the train and no foul play is suspected. No further details are being released at this time.
