Knights Fall To Sting 4-1

The London Knights dropped a 4-1 decision to the Sarnia Sting at Progressive Auto Sales Arena on Wednesday.

Cliff Pu put the Knights on the board with a goal early in the first period, but the Sting tied things up with a goal 17:06 into the frame. Sarnia jumped into the lead with another goal 3:12 into the second, and held the advantage heading into the final frame.

The Sting scored another two unanswered goals in the final frame to top the Knights for the win.

Knights goaltender Joseph Raaymakers made 26 saves out of 30 shots on net.

The Knights return home on Friday to battle the Owen Sound Attack at 7:30pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
