Knights Outplay The Attack 5-3

The London Knights beat the Owen Sound Attack 5-3 in OHL action on Friday.

In an action packed first period, the Attack scored early in the frame to take the lead, but Alex Formenton, Evan Bouchard and Alec Regula all scored to give London a 3-1 advantage heading into the second.

Tyler Rollo scored for the Knights 5:15 into the second frame, but Owen Sound scored another two goals of their own to bring them within one goal.

The Knights were able to hold off the Attack throughout the third, and Cliff Pu added one more goal to cap off the win for London.

London goalie Joseph Raaymakers made 27 saves out of 30 shots on net.

The Knights head to Guelph on Sunday to take on the Storm at 2pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
