London, St. Thomas Police Team Up To Make Arrests

London and St. Thomas police teamed up this week to track down two people wanted on outstanding arrest warrants.

Police say on Friday, A 35-year-old woman was arrested in London on outstanding warrants for failing to attend court and failing to comply with probation conditions.

The woman was taken to St. Thomas where she was eventually released from custody with a court date set for early December.

Again with the help of London police, a 40-year-old St. Thomas man was arrested on outstanding warrants.

The man faces numerous charges, including:

  • Three counts of assault with a weapon
  • Two counts of threatening to kill someone
  • Two counts of possessing a dangerous weapon
  • One count of assault
  • One count of threatening to destroy property
The man will appear in court in St. Thomas in early December.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
