UPDATE: Missing Man Found Dead

The London police major crimes unit is investigating after a man who had been missing for more than two weeks was found dead in his car.

Police said the vehicle belonging to 53-year-old David Hole was found in a parking lot near Wellington Rd. and Commissioners Rd. His body was found inside.

Hole had last been seen November 15 and his family notified police after becoming concerned for his welfare.

Police announced on Friday evening that an autopsy had been completed, but a cause of death could not be determined. Police said further investigation will take place to determine cause.

Anyone with information about David Hole’s disappearance and death, or who may have seen him or his 2009 Ford Escape, 4-door, green/grey in colour, with Ontario plates “BWSS480,” is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
