Police Seek Suspect In East London Stabbing

London police are looking for a man after another was rushed to hospital with stab wounds.

The London Police Service says on Thursday around 3:20pm, officers were called to an area of Boulee St. north of Cheapside St. after someone was seen carrying a weapon. When officers arrived they found a 27-year-old man suffering from stab wounds.

The man was rushed to hospital in critical condition, but police say his condition has since improved, and his injuries are now believed to be non-life threatening.

Officers are continuing to investigate and are looking for a second man in connection to the stabbing. The suspect is described as a male with light brown skin, 6'2" tall, with dark afro hair pulled into a bun. He also has a goatee and was last seen wearing dark baggy pants and a grey/black jacket.

The victim and his attacker were known to each other and there is no risk to public safety, according to police.
