Police Seize $100K In Coke, Pot

Two men and a woman are facing drug trafficking charges after police seized nearly $100,000 in cocaine and marijuana in a raid on two London homes.

Officers with the London police Guns and Drugs Section searched a home on Settlement Trail and a home on Augusta Cres. Thursday. Police turned up 439 g of cocaine, 4,751 g of marijuana, 369 g of lidocaine mixed with phenacetin, and over $50,000 in cash.

The drugs seized are valued at approximately $92,745.

A 20-year-old man, a 39-year-old man, and a 19-year-old woman, from London, are charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking.

All three are scheduled to appear in London court Friday to answer to the charges.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
