Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash

London police say a Belmont man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in the south-east end.

Around 11pm Tuesday, emergency crews were called to the area of Wilton Grove Rd. and Veterans Memorial Pkwy. Police say a man was driving south on Veterans Memorial when he continued through the T-intersection and ended up in a bush. The man was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He has been identified as Peter Gordon Potter, 86, of Belmont.

Police say it does not appear alcohol was a factor. The Traffic Management Unit is investigating.
