Snow Squall, Extreme Cold Warnings End In London

Environment Canada has ended the snow squall and extreme cold warnings for London.

Environment Canada says a snow squall warning and an extreme cold warning are still in effect in London and Middlesex County.

The weather agency says that the snow squalls are continuing to affect areas southeast of Lake Huron with the strongest squalls near Grand Bend extending towards western sections of London.

Local snowfall amounts of up to 15cm per 12 hours are likely in the strongest snow squall bands.

Zero visibility may occur through gusts of blowing snow, making driving dangerous. If your visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.

Sections of Hwy. 402 south and west of London towards Watford remain closed.

These weather warnings will be updated as necessary.
