Teens Assaulted At White Oaks Mall

Two teenagers were hurt, one seriously, after being assaulted by two 14-year-old girls at a south London mall.

London police say a 17-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl got into a fight inside a store at White Oaks Mall around 6:20pm on Tuesday. When another 17-year-old tried to intervene in the fight, she was attacked by a second 14-year-old girl.

Police were called but the two 14-year-olds took off before officers arrived.

One of the victims was taken to hospital with serious injuries, the other suffered minor injuries.

Police have identified both suspects but as of Thursday neither had been found. An arrest warrant has been issued for the two girls. One is wanted for assault causing bodily harm, the other is wanted for assault and assault with a weapon. Police did not indicate what sort of weapon was used in the attack.

Neither suspect can be identified because of their age.

Anyone with information about this assault is asked to call police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
