Police Investigating String Of Fires

London police are investigating after fires were set at several homes under construction.

The most recent incident happened Tuesday on Lawson Rd. near Sandbar St. Damage is estimated at approximately $10,000.

Police say, since early August, there have been several incidents in which someone has set fire to homes that are under construction. In total, these fires have caused $500,000 worth of damage.

Investigators are asking for the public's help as they search for those responsible for the fires.

"If you see something or someone suspicious in the area, please contact 9-1-1 immediately," police say in a statement released Wednesday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
