White SUV Sought In Fatal Hit-And-Run

Two weeks after a hit-and-run claimed the life of an elderly cyclist, London police have released a description of the vehicle believed to have been involved.

Through their investigation into the January 2 incident near Dundas St. and Hale St., officers have determined a 2011 to 2016 white Dodge Journey was involved in the collision.

Police say the SUV would have damage to the passenger side and headlight area. It was last seen heading north on Highbury Ave. from Dundas St.

Tae-Khun “Thomas” Ha was cycling west on Dundas St. when he was hit by a vehicle that then took off around 5:45pm on January 2. The 85-year-old man died from his injuries five days later.

Members of London's cycling-community held a memorial bike-ride for Ha on Monday.

Police are asking anyone with information about the suspect vehicle to call them at 519-661-5680 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)
