Three Londoners Charged In Separate Drug Busts

Two men and a woman are facing drug charges after two separate drug busts at opposite ends of London Thursday.

Officers with the Guns and Drugs Section searched a home on Forward Ave., seizing 19g of cocaine and 97g of marijuana valued at $2,870. Police also found a butterfly knife and a digital weigh scale.

The same day, police also raided a home on Vinewood Court, turning up a variety of hydromorphone pills worth nearly $1,000 and $300 cash. Undisclosed stolen property was also found inside the home.

A 50-year-old London man was arrested in connection to the Forward Ave. bust. He is charged with half a dozen offences including possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a prohibited weapon.

A 38-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man, both from London, are charged with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 in relation to the Vinewood bust.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
