UPDATE: Pedestrian Hit By Vehicle In Critical Condition

London police are appealing to the public for witnesses after a female pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in the area of Oxford St. and First St. late Sunday night.

Police say the pedestrian was rushed to the hospital after the crash and is currently in critical condition.

The crash was first reported just before 11pm Sunday and officers shut down the intersection for a couple of hours, but it has since re-opened to traffic.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
