Thieves Target Old North

Residents in Old North are being reminded to lock their doors after London police were called to five break-ins in the neighbourhood over a two-day period.

Police say all of the break-ins happened between 10pm and 11:30pm on both Tuesday and Wednesday. In each case, a person was able to get inside a home through an unlocked rear door or garage door but was scared off by residents who were home at the time.

Around the same time, police were also notified about suspicious people and items being stolen from vehicles in the area.

Police are advising the public to keep doors and windows locked at all times and to be vigilant of their surroundings. Anyone who spots any suspicious activity is urged to call police.
