While on patrol early Saturday morning, an officer noticed a wanted man driving a vehicle.
Police say the officer stopped the vehicle and arrested a 29-year-old man who was wanted on sexual assault charges.
According to police, the man was taken into custody and a further search of him revealed that he was in possession of 1.4g of cocaine.
The man was later released on conditions with a court date in early March.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
