Knights Weather Storm 3-2 in Overtime

Liam Foudy scored twice as the London Knights beat the Storm 3-2 in overtime Sunday afternoon in Guelph.

The win is the third in a row for the Knights, now with 62 points on the season.

Foudy's first goal of the game got London on the board. His goal at 5:46 of the first period was his 14th of the season. Guelph evened things up soon after with Alexey Toropchenko finding the net.

There was no scoring in the second period but each team killed off one penalty. The Knights outscored the Storm in that period 11-8.

The Storm took the lead in the third period on Isaac Ratcliffe's 31st goal of the season at 11:55. Billy Moskal responded for London just 12 seconds later to tie the game.

Foudy had the game-winner at 3:48 in the overtime period.

Joseph Raaymakers had 33 saves out of 35 tries in goal for the Knights. Anthony Popovich had 28 saves for the Storm.

The Knights travel to Owen Sound Wednesday night for a Valentine's Day clash with the Attack.
