Knights Can't Withstand Attack

The London Knights dropped a 4-2 decision to the Owen Sound Attack on Wednesday.

After a scoreless first period, Alec Regula put London on the board with a goal 1:06 into the second. However, Owen Sound ended the second frame with a 2-1 lead after scoring twice.

The Attack added another two goals to their lead in the third to make it 4-1 with just over eight minutes left in the game. Liam Foudy scored for London in the final seconds of the game, but Owen Sound still retained a two-goal advantage.

Knights goaltender Joseph Raaymakers made 37 saves out of 41 shots on net.

The Knights are back on home ice on Friday to take on the Kitchener Rangers at 7:30pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
