Londoners Charged In Pharmacy Robbery

London police say two people have been charged after narcotics were stolen in a pharmacy robbery.

Police say on Saturday at 9:54pm, a robbery happened at Shoppers Drug Mart at 759 Adelaide St. N in London.

According to police, two suspects went into the pharmacy and demanded narcotics from the pharmacist. Police say both of the suspects were disguised and threatened to shoot staff unless they provided them with Fentanyl patches.

Police say the suspects were given an undisclosed amount of narcotics before they fled the scene.

Officers were called to the scene and found the suspects on William St.

Police say a 32-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man, both from London, have been charged with robbery with the threat of violence.

Police recovered all narcotics stolen during the robbery and no one was injured.
