On Saturday at around noon, St. Thomas police arrested a 35-year-old St. Thomas man on an outstanding warrant regarding an assault investigation.
Police say a small quantity of hash was also located in the man's pocket.
The man was later released from custody with a future court date for the assault charge and for being in possession of the drug.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
