On Sunday at around 10pm, officers arrested a 26-year-old St. Thomas man on a warrant issued by another police service.
St. Thomas police then discovered that the man also had a court-ordered condition to not be in possession of weapons. According to police, officers found a knife on the man while searching him.
The man was taken to the police station where he was charged with failing to comply and held for a court hearing.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
