Charges Laid In London Shooting

Two days after shots were fired in a northeast London neighbourhood, London police announced charges against three people.

Police were called early Sunday morning after shots were fired in the area of Victoria St. and Clifford St. Damage was done to a home and a vehicle, but no injuries were reported.

On Tuesday, police announced that charges have been laid against 25-year-old Nicholas White, 38-year-old Kristy Stoddard, and 22-year-old Katelyn Brennan, all of London.

They are each charged with being in a motor vehicle with a firearm.

White is also charged with careless use of a firearm, unlawful possession of a non-restricted firearm, reckless discharge of a firearm, possession of a firearm while prohibited, disqualified operation of a motor vehicle, and failing to comply with a judicial release.

Stoddart is charged with mischief under $5,000.

According to police, Stoddard and White were arrested yesterday, while Brennan was arrested Tuesday morning.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
