Police Seeking Crash Witnesses

Provincial police are still looking for witnesses to a single-vehicle crash near Thamesford that left a man with critical injuries.

Emergency crews were called to the crash on Hwy. 19 between Hwy. 2 and Oxford Country Rd. 74 just before 11pm last Friday. The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries.

As of Tuesday morning, the man was still listed in critical condition, said Oxford OPP.

Investigators continue to probe the cause of the crash and are asking anyone who may have witnessed it to call police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
