Four Armed Men Break Into Home, Rough Up Homeowners

Police are looking for suspects after four armed men broke into a London home and assaulted the homeowners.

The London Police Service says on Wednesday shortly before 12:15am, the four men who were armed with guns and other weapons, forced their way into a home on Oxford St. E near Maitland St. A man and a woman who were home at the time were both assaulted and suffered minor injuries.

The four attackers left the home with an unknown amount of cash and property before police arrived.

Police officials say investigators do not believe this was a random incident, however, it may have been a case of mistaken address.

All four suspects are described as black males in their 20s, wearing bandana-style masks.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
