Police Seek Man In Sexual Assault Probe

London police are hoping to identify a man who may be able to help them with an ongoing sexual assault investigation.

Police released a photo of the man they want to speak with on Friday. The image was captured in the area of Richmond St. and John St. around 12:20am on Sunday.

"This male may have had contact with the complainant earlier in the evening and may have information that could be helpful to the investigation," police said in a statement.

Earlier in the week, police were trying to track down a silver, four-door sedan that was in a parking lot at Oxford St. and Wharncliffe Rd. around the time of the reported sexual assault. The car had a headlight out on the driver's side.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
