Metal Pole Falls Off Truck, Smashes Into Front Of Car

A transport truck driver could be facing charges after a metal pole became dislodged from the back of a truck and totalled the front of a car.

Elgin OPP say it happened around 11am Monday on Highbury Ave. near Truman Line in Central Elgin. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and the truck driver could be charged with having an unsafe load.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
