Overseas Tip Leads To London Child Pornography Bust

London police credit a tip from the Netherlands with helping them make a child pornography bust in the southeast-end.

Officers with the Internet Child Exploitation Unit searched a home on Barrett Cres., in the Westminister area last Friday, seizing several electronic devices. The raid stemmed from information that an individual in the Netherlands had been sent pornographic text messages detailing sex acts with children.

Police in London were notified about the complaint by the Victim Identification Unit of the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children.

Jason Renke, 25, of London is charged with importing, selling, and distributing child pornography in the form of written word. He is scheduled to appear in London court on May 10.
