Sexual Assault Investigated In East London

London police are investigating a sexual assault in the city's east end.

The incident occurred in the area of Trafalgar St and Admiral Dr.

Police say a woman was walking in the area when a man approached her in a vehicle. The driver got out and spoke to the woman and later took her to a secluded area where he sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as male, 5' 8" with an average build. He was wearing jogging pants and a dark-coloured hoodie.

The vehicle is described as a dark-coloured sedan.

The London Police Service's sexual assault and child abuse section is continuing the investigation. No additional details have been released.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
